Former Lagos chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, has celebrated his 51st birthday with a message of gratitude and reflection.
To mark the occasion, MC Oluomo shared a video of himself dancing while thanking Almighty Allah for the gift of life and for His continued mercy, protection, and guidance over him and his family. He said that through every challenge, test, and victory in his life, Allah has always remained his strength and shield.
In his birthday message, the transport union leader prayed for more wisdom, patience, and strength in the new year of his life. He also asked Allah to guide his steps, bless the work of his hands, protect his family, and grant him greater achievements, good health, peace of mind, and divine favour.
MC Oluomo also expressed appreciation to friends, supporters, and well-wishers who have stood by him through different stages of his life. According to him, their prayers, loyalty, and encouragement mean more to him than words can express.
Reflecting on his experiences, he said life has taught him many lessons, including the reality that not everyone who smiles with you truly wishes you well. However, he said he remains grateful to Allah because God’s protection has always been greater than the plans of those who secretly wish him harm.
As he celebrates another year, MC Oluomo said he is moving forward with faith, gratitude, and confidence in Allah’s plan, adding that the journey and mission of his life continue, and by God’s grace, the best is yet to come.
