Billionaire heiress and disc jockey DJ Cuppy has revealed that she no longer believes she can date or marry a Nigerian man, based on her past relationship experiences.
She made the statement during an appearance on the 3 Shots of Tequila podcast, where she opened up about her dating history and the type of men she has been involved with.
According to her, a past relationship with a Nigerian man made her rethink her preferences. She explained that the man began talking about meeting her father earlier than she expected, which surprised her and made her question the seriousness of the relationship.
Cuppy said:
“I can never marry a Nigerian. It’s impossible. The last one I dated was asking me when he could meet my dad…”
She added that she initially did not even believe the men she dated were truly interested in her. She also said her father does not pressure her about who she marries, as he only wants her to settle down happily.
She further expressed happiness for fellow public figures Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi, noting their relationship as something she admires.
Her comments have since sparked conversations online about relationships, dating preferences, and cultural expectations in modern romance.
