Nollywood actress Ini Dima-Okojie and her husband, Eneobong Abasi, have welcomed their first child, a baby boy.
The actress shared the joyful news on Instagram while celebrating her birthday, revealing that this year’s celebration is unlike any other she has experienced.
According to Ini, she usually marks her birthday with glamorous photoshoots and carefully planned concepts. However, this year, she chose to share a photo taken on the day her son was born, describing it as the moment her life changed forever.
Reflecting on motherhood, the new mum said it has been the most humbling, challenging, and rewarding role she has ever taken on. She described the past few weeks as beautiful, overwhelming, exhausting, and fulfilling as she adjusts to life with her newborn.
Ini Dima-Okojie spoke fondly of her son, describing him as a cute baby with sweet dimples. She said getting to know him, watching him grow, and caring for him has become the greatest gift of her life.
The actress also admitted that the newborn stage has been more demanding than she expected, noting that she did not fully understand the challenges that came with motherhood. Despite the sleepless nights and difficult moments, she said she would not trade the experience for anything.
She expressed gratitude to God for entrusting her with the responsibility of raising a child and thanked her family, friends, and supporters for their prayers, love, and encouragement throughout the journey.
As she marked another year of life, Ini said her greatest reason for celebration is not just her birthday, but the privilege of becoming a mother.
