Nollywood actor Rotimi Salami has paid an emotional tribute to his late colleague and friend, Allwell Ademola, by visiting her graveside to mark what would have been her 50th birthday.

Rotimi, accompanied by members of his crew, visited the actress's graveside as part of activities to honour her memory and celebrate her life and contributions to the Yoruba film industry.

Speaking during the tribute, Rotimi acknowledged the pain of losing Allwell but expressed confidence that her legacy would continue through the people she inspired and the works she left behind.

He wrote:

“Prayers in this heartbroken moment today. Allwell may be dead, but her works will live through us.”

The graveside visit comes after Rotimi had earlier celebrated Allwell's 50th posthumous birthday on social media, describing how much he missed her and revealing that he had released a movie titled Until My Last Breath (Titilailai), which he said was inspired by her true-life love story.
