Drama Erupts Between Lawrence Emareyo’s Wives Over Children’s School Fees

Drama has erupted online between the first and second wives of Delta State businessman Lawrence Emareyo following a public disagreement over the payment of his children’s school fees.

The controversy reportedly started after one of the women accused the businessman of withdrawing financial support for the children’s education despite allegedly spending money on other projects, gifts and people around him.

In a series of social media posts, the woman claimed that Emareyo had stopped paying the children’s school fees and had allegedly withdrawn them from their current school. According to her, the businessman reportedly suggested that the children return to a school they had left more than four years ago.

Expressing her frustration, she suggested that she might resort to homeschooling the children while she continues to deal with the situation privately.

“Me and these children go kuku start home schooling with television, as my own mental state is still healing and as their papa say e no fit pay school fees again…”

She also questioned the businessman’s priorities, alleging that he had recently purchased a brand-new car for one of his staff members and distributed iPhones and other gifts to people across Delta State.

“Same man bought his staff a brand new car two days ago alongside iPhones and other gifts he distributed all over Delta State,” she alleged.

The allegations, however, drew a strong response from Emareyo’s second wife, who distanced herself from the dispute and warned the woman against involving her in an issue she claimed not to know anything about.

In her response, the second wife accused her of seeking online sympathy and urged her to be careful about how she addressed her.

“Don't involve me in what I know nothing about. The online sympathy you're getting is like you don't like it,” she wrote.

She further warned that the same social media users currently supporting the woman could eventually turn against her if the full details of the dispute became public.

“Online people that will clap for you today will shame you tomorrow once they know the whole truth. So use your tongue to count your teeth and never address me the way you did.”

The second wife also suggested that some people were deliberately protecting the first wife’s public image because children were involved in the matter.

The exchange has since generated reactions online, with attention focused on the allegations surrounding the children’s education, the businessman’s alleged spending on gifts, and the increasingly public disagreement between the two women.

Neither side has publicly provided independent evidence to substantiate all the claims made in the dispute, leaving social media users to debate the allegations and await further clarification from those involved.
