Uzordima Chukwudi a 29-year-old man has been arrested and he claims the pressure to pay the bride price of his pregnant wife had lured him into kidnapping. He says the women society in their village had been on his neck after his girlfriend broke the news off being pregnant to him. He says its was a friend of his who invited him to join the gang of kidnappers.
