Four(4) Security Men Stole N500,000 Tithes & Offering From A Church In Lagos

Four security men who were employed to secure and guard a church from theft and any other physical incident were said to have conspired to steal a sum of N500k from the church's tithe box.

The accused security men who's name are Amos Danjuma, Bright Innocent, Tajudeen Shoni & Taiwo Akintola were been charged in Tinubu Magistrates Court in Lagos with stealing that contravened sections 309 and 409 of Criminal law in Lagos state. The church "Ascension Anglican Church" at Alasia bus-stop, Badore Road, Eti-Osa, Lagos. The accused were granted bail of N50,000 and two sureties, although the case has been adjourned till March 22.
