Ijegun Pipeline Explosion: Many People Feared Dead As The Fire Outbreak Leaves Ijegun-Ikotun Properties Burnt

A pipeline explosion which outcome was in a horrible fire outbreak has left many people dead and properties burnt in Ijegun, Ikotun, Lagos State.

The fire, according to residents, started around 3 am. They said there was no sign of firefighters as at 6 am.

A resident revealed that the oil thieves arrived the area at about 1:30 am with trucks and were on their way out of the area after draining fuel from a vandalised pipeline, when one of their tankers fell and spilled its content.
