Court Finally Springs Up Seun Egbegbe's Case After 3 Years In Prison.

The fraud case of actress Toyin Abraham's ex lover, Seun Egbegbe has finally been remembered after spending three years in jail.

On the 6th October, the Federal High Court in Lagos will hear no-case submissions in the alleged fraud case involving Egbegbe.

Recall that Seun Egbegbe was charged with scamming a total of N39, 098,100, $90,000 and £12,550, of different amounts in local and foreign currencies between 2015 and 2017, of no less than 30 bureau de change operators in Lagos.

Seun was initially arraigned before Justice Oluremi Oguntoyinbo in February 2017.

Since that time he has been in prison custody because of the incapacity to meet the N5 million bail granted by the court.

Oyekan Ayomide, Lawal Kareem, Olalekan Yusuf and Muyideen Shoyombo are among his co-defendants on 40-count indictment.

Police accused Seun of defrauding BDC operators mainly by falsely portraying the victims that he had foreign currency to sell to or purchase from them.

After the prosecution's case was dismissed, all the defendants submitted no-case motions, except for Egbegbe, who is having trouble paying legal fees.

The defendants appealed to the court to dismiss the charges on the basis that police prosecutor Innocent Anyigor failed or proved the charges against them.

On October 6 the court to hear the claims of no-case.

Toyin Abraham, however, has publicly stated she's been regretting dating him. Talking to Channels TV Rubbin Minds, Toyin went emotionally saying she still regretted having anything to do with him.

She is now HAPPILY married to Kolawole Oluwasegun Ajeyemi and together they have a son, named Ire!
