Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe, was a popular comic actor.
Mr Latin, the president of the Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Producers Association of Nigeria, confirmed his death in an interview with PUNCH, saying:
“It has been confirmed that Baba Suwe is dead. I just got off the phone with his son who confirmed that the actor is dead. I don’t have much details about his death.”
Remember that a video of Nollywood actor Baba Suwe crying uncontrollably after Yomi Fabiyi did something unexpected to him on his birthday appeared on social media a few months ago.
In the video, the comic actor, who was clearly taken aback by the birthday serenade, was unable to contain his feelings and opted to cry tears of joy.
