Nollywood Star Toyin Abraham Breaks Silence On Brand Issues And Mental Health

Nollywood star actress, Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi, has spoken up about her mental health and the issues she is facing with some of the brands she represents. The award-winning actress has been the subject of online bullying and harassment after declaring her support for the presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2023 elections. She was reportedly targeted by supposed fans of the opposing political parties who claimed that she was supporting the "wrong" candidate.

In response, Toyin Abraham took to her Instagram stories to reassure her fans that she is doing fine and not moved by the agendas of netizens. She also thanked her loyal fans and friends for standing by her during the period she was being trolled. Furthermore, she claimed that all her deals with the brands she represents are still intact.

However, trouble looms as netizens have petitioned one of the brands that Toyin Abraham represents to disassociate themselves from the actress due to her political views. According to a post shared by controversial Esabod, the unidentified petitioner claimed that they would boycott the product if the brand refused to remove Toyin from their ambassadorial role. It remains unclear how the brand has responded to the petition.
