A video has emerged showing President Tinubu expressing his disapproval of unauthorized individuals, including his son Seyi, attending the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting in the council chambers.
During the FEC meeting on Monday, October 30, President Tinubu addressed government officials, stressing that only individuals authorized by him should be present at the council chambers during FEC meetings. He expressed concern about people sneaking in and out of the council, particularly noting the presence of his son, Seyi, which he found unacceptable.
The President clarified that only individuals with his consent should be in attendance, naming specific exceptions, including Hadiza Bala Usman (SA Policy), Bayo Onanuga (Information and Strategy), Hakeem Muri-Okunola (Principal Private Secretary), and Damilotun Aderemi (Private Secretary). President Tinubu emphasized that unless he had personally invited someone, they should not attend the meeting. This directive aims to maintain the integrity of the FEC meetings and ensure that only authorized personnel participate in conducting the nation's business.
