Prominent Nollywood actress Adebimpe Oyebade, also known as Mo Bimpe, has shared her experiences of facing online trolls after her marriage to colleague Lateef Adedimeji. In a conversation with her friend, actress Debbie Shokoya, Mo Bimpe revealed that she is constantly targeted by individuals who make negative comments about her relationship.
Mo Bimpe and Lateef, who tied the knot in December 2021, have become a subject of controversy in the film industry. Speculations arose that Mo Bimpe's pregnancy might have been a catalyst for their marriage. Some critics even questioned her acting skills and appearance.
Several years into their marriage, there remained curiosity regarding when she would start a family.
In a recent interview, Mo Bimpe disclosed that she faces persistent online trolling, including direct messages inquiring about her pregnancy plans. She expressed her surprise at such comments, stating, "Since I got married to my husband, it has been one troll to another... A girl came to my page to say, 'When are you getting pregnant?' I was like, what kind of comment is this?"
Despite the challenges, Mo Bimpe has learned to overlook the trolls. She acknowledges that dealing with them can be tough at times but reminds herself that these trolls are unhappy individuals attempting to make her feel bad about herself.
