The Osun State Government has called on the public to dismiss a video circulating on social media, allegedly showing Governor Ademola Adeleke snubbing the Ooni of Ife at an event. Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi, clarified that the video was doctored by "agents of the opposition."
To counter the misinformation, Alimi released the original videos from the event, proving that the viral clips were manipulated. He emphasized the strong and positive relationship between Governor Adeleke and the Ooni of Ife, citing their cordial exchange at the coronation of Senator Olubiyi Ajagunla as evidence.
The Osun State Government urged the public to disregard the doctored video entirely, assuring that the authentic videos are available for public verification. The statement aims to dispel false narratives and misinformation surrounding the alleged snub incident.
