Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has taken a stand against entitlement while promoting the virtue of hard work. The gospel minister shared his thoughts on Instagram, cautioning against the mindset of feeling owed by others.
In his post, Edochie preached against the culture of entitlement, stressing that individuals should only expect to reap the rewards of their own labor. He firmly stated, "Nobody owes you anything. The only money you’re entitled to is the one you have worked for."
Edochie went further to criticize the practice of instructing others on how to spend their money while being inactive. He emphasized, "You can’t sit in your home & tell another person how to spend their money."
Despite his advocacy for helping others, Edochie made it clear that he does not endorse laziness. He urged his followers to take initiative, stating, "I preach help always, but I don’t support laziness. Get up and hustle."
