Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold marked his eight-year milestone in the music industry by expressing gratitude to his senior colleague and YBNL boss, Olamide. Reflecting on his journey, Adekunle took to Twitter, now known as X, to reminisce about his debut album, "Gold," produced by Olamide's record label, and how it was crucial to his career.
Sharing a photo of the album cover and tracklist, Adekunle appreciated Olamide for giving him an opportunity. He recalled starting as a young graphic designer who Olamide allowed to design the YBNL logo and become a part of the record label.
Adekunle wrote, "Thank you @olamide for giving that young graphic designer the chance to not only design the YBNL logo but to be a part of your family."
Olamide responded by reposting the appreciation message and affirming their bond, declaring, "Fam for life."


Over the years, Nigerian music icon Olamide has significantly impacted the lives and careers of many artists, including Zlatan, Naira Marley, T.I Blaze, Bella Shmurda, Portable, Skales, Phyno, Jaido P, Asake, Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold, Fireboy, CDQ, and others. His role as a mentor and key figure in the development of Nigerian music talent has been widely acknowledged.

Due to these significant contributions, Daniel Regha advocated for greater recognition of Olamide within the music industry, pointing out that despite his many achievements, Olamide remains underrated.
