"I had a dream that Ronaldo was looking for me, so I can’t date a Nigerian man," actress Funmi Awelewa reveals.

 Well-known Yoruba film actress Funmi Awelewa recently shared why she is unable to date a Nigerian man.

On her Instagram profile, she also expressed her admiration for Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo.

Declaring her love for Ronaldo, the actress humorously referred to herself as Ronaldo’s wife and expressed her willingness to date the footballer.

According to her, her love for Ronaldo is the reason she is not currently engaged to any Nigerian man.

Awelewa revealed that she dreamt about being in a romantic relationship with Ronaldo and believes that her dream will come true soon.

Translating from Yoruba, she said:

“I had a dream about Cristiano Ronaldo, and I know my dream will come true. I would love to date Cristiano Ronaldo; that’s why I’m not engaged to any Nigerian man.”
