Singer Alhaja Azeezat Declares No Man Can Use Money to Lure Her, Shares Painful Business Loss

Renowned Nigerian singer Alhaja Azeezat has boldly stated that no man can use money to entice her into a relationship, emphasizing her financial independence and dedication to hard work.

In an interview on Oyinmomo TV’s official YouTube channel, Azeezat revealed that she has never allowed money to influence her personal decisions. She explained that she joined the music industry with her own funds, which gave her the confidence to reject unwanted advances from men.

"I came from a poor background, but I have worked tirelessly to build my own wealth. Aside from music, I run several businesses, and I am financially stable. No man can use money to sleep with me because I am already comfortable with my life," she stated.

Reflecting on a painful financial loss in her music career, Azeezat recounted how she invested over ₦4 million to record a song with Fuji legend Saheed Osupa but was shortchanged by a marketer.

"I traveled to Ibadan to record a song with Saheed Osupa, and multiple marketers were eager to promote it because they knew it would be a hit. However, despite my ₦4 million investment, I was only paid ₦300,000 in installments. Up until now, I haven't received any additional money," she lamented.

The singer’s revelation has sparked conversations about the challenges faced by independent artists in the Nigerian music industry, especially when dealing with marketers and financial setbacks.
