Veteran Singer Shina Peters Reveals He Became a Father at 14, Built First House at 16

Legendary Nigerian musician Sir Shina Peters has opened up about his early life and rise to fame, leaving many stunned by his revelations.

Speaking during an interview on The Honest Bunch podcast, the veteran singer shared how resilience and determination shaped his journey.

According to him, his music career began at the young age of 10. By 13, he had already bought his first car. Just a year later, at 14, he welcomed his first child. His success continued as he built his first house at 16.

Despite his achievements, he said his teenage years were far from easy.

“At 16 and 17, I was always in court — sometimes attending three cases in one day,” he said.

Shina Peters also revealed that the majority of his supporters are not from his Yoruba tribe.

“About 65% of my fans are Igbo, not Yoruba,” he added.

His story has drawn admiration online, with many praising his strength, while others expressed disbelief at how fast his life evolved at such a young age.
