 Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa recently celebrated her son’s first birthday with a lavish party attended by many of her colleagues, including MC Oluomo, Mercy Aigbe, Iyabo Ojo, Omowunmi Ajiboye, Laide Bakare, Ronke Oshodi, Seyi Edun, Bimbo Thomas, Foluke Daramola, Muyiwa Ademola, and others.

Sharing clips from the event on Instagram, Dayo expressed her heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended, writing, “We shine differently ✨✨✨”. She also acknowledged the planner, outfit designer, and those who helped customize her son’s birthday attire, showing appreciation to her friends and colleagues for making the day special.

Dayo welcomed her son, Oluwafirewamiri, in November last year and shared her joy at becoming a mother. Her journey to motherhood was not easy; she previously revealed experiencing three miscarriages and recounted how her ex-husband abandoned her during her struggle with infertility. She also shared emotional moments of praying to God and undergoing several medical checkups and surgeries.

The birth of her son has silenced critics who previously mocked her over her inability to have children. Last year, she had publicly condemned online mockery, particularly from those who criticized her support for the 2023 APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Through her social media post, Dayo Amusa highlighted her gratitude, joy, and the love that surrounded her son’s milestone celebration.
