Nollywood actress Yetunde Barnabas and her footballer husband, Olayinka Solomon, recently celebrated the 8-day naming ceremony of their newborn son, Gianni. The celebration, held on Wednesday, was attended by family, friends, and celebrities including Fausat Balogun, Ijebu, Tawa Ajisefinni and her husband.
Sharing photos on Instagram, Yetunde expressed her joy and gratitude, saying their hearts are full and their home is overflowing with love. She thanked God for a safe delivery, a successful gathering, and the blessing of their son. She added that Gianni is a gift they will cherish forever.
This birth comes less than seven months after Yetunde publicly dismissed rumours that she and her husband were expecting another child. She highlighted that God’s timing is perfect and playfully asked rumour peddlers to focus on watching her movies instead.
Following the birth, her colleague Bakare Zainab shared a clip from Yetunde’s surprise baby shower, which was attended by friends like Afeez Owo, Seiilat, and Omowunmi Ajiboye. Yetunde also shared touching family-themed maternity photos and a message to her newborn, expressing that they prayed for more love, and God blessed them with Gianni.
Earlier this year, Yetunde and Olayinka celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary, reflecting on their journey together, which began with love and continues to grow stronger every day.
