Femi Adebayo Reacts as Ex-Wife Accuses Him of Forceful Eviction

Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo has finally reacted after his ex-wife, Omotayo Sanusi, also known as Iyanaladuke, accused him of sending about 20 men to forcefully remove her from her restaurant.

Omotayo made the allegation in a series of Instagram posts, where she claimed that the men also pushed out her elderly mother from the property. According to her, the incident is part of an ongoing marital dispute, and she described it as months of humiliation which she blamed on Adebayo.

After her claims went viral online, Femi Adebayo posted photos of himself on social media with a short caption. However, he did not directly address or explain the allegations made by his ex-wife.

Amid the growing controversy, a family member identified as Mrs. Taiwo Abdulmalik came out to give a different version of events. She stated that Femi Adebayo was not responsible for the eviction. According to her, the property was repossessed by a bank after Adebayo allegedly struggled to repay a loan used to purchase it.

Abdulmalik explained that Omotayo had been aware for several months that the bank might reclaim the property. She added that the properties belong solely to Femi Adebayo and that he is still repaying a large amount of money with interest.

She further revealed that before the bank took over the property, Adebayo had already made arrangements for Omotayo and others living with her to move into a fully paid short-term apartment.

Speaking on the couple’s child, who is reportedly autistic, Abdulmalik said Femi Adebayo has continued to play an active role in his son’s care. She disclosed that the actor spent about $50,000 last year to take the child to India for medical treatment, a detail she said is rarely made public.

The situation has continued to spark mixed reactions online. While some fans urged the public not to judge, others called on both parties to handle the matter with kindness for the sake of their child. Some social media users, however, ignored the controversy and focused on praising Femi Adebayo’s outfit in his recent post.
