Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, has responded to claims linking him to the ongoing social media feud between Very Dark Man (VDM) and King Mitchy. The controversy began when VDM accused King Mitchy of acting as a political pawn to promote the president’s administration and suggested her involvement in the education sector was politically motivated. VDM also alleged that both Seyi Tinubu and King Mitchy had threatened his life.
In response, Seyi Tinubu took to Instagram, calling the allegations false. He clarified that he met Mitchy only once in a public setting and had provided financial support for her NGO activities, as he has for other young Nigerians and organizations focused on empowerment.
He emphasized that there has been no secret arrangement or impropriety between him and the socialite and criticized VDM for attempting to attack his reputation. Seyi concluded that he would not be bullied or respond with panic to fictional claims.

For some days now, VDM and Mitchy have been at war after she dragged him over renovating schools. She claimed she also renovated a school within six days and challenged the activist to give her N50 million to renovate four schools.
The social media influencer had even lost her business page to the drama and had alleged that VDM questioned where she got the money to open her store. She said the activist accused her of inappropriate behaviour, alleging that she was licking a lollipop.
To prove her worth, Mitchy had shared a WhatsApp screenshot of her conversation with the Ooni, in which he praised her for doing great things.
Following the allegation and bullying, Mitchy had drank hypo in a live video.
Her management had announced her demise. In an official statement, they revealed that all efforts by the medical team at Prime Hospital, Abuja, proved futile. The management expressed sadness at the news, noting how Mitchy was more than a talent and had a family, was full of life, light and dreams.
Prime Care Hospital Abuja, however, issued a disclaimer, saying she was never a patient in their hospital and didn’t pass away there. The management said they are working with the authorities to investigate the source of the misinformation and will take necessary legal actions against those responsible. They urged netizens to verify information through official channels before sharing.
