Nollywood actress Biola Bayo has penned an emotional message as she marked one year since the passing of her mother.
Taking to her Instagram page, the actress shared a photo of her late mother and expressed disbelief that she has been without her for a full year. She described the moment as painful but declared that she believes everything is in God’s hands.
In the same post, Biola addressed people who criticize or insult her for not always being able to help others. She reminded them that she is also facing her own struggles, revealing that she is an orphan and a single mother.
According to her, being in this position is not what she planned or imagined for herself, but it is the reality life has handed her. Despite this, she said she is carrying her responsibilities with grace and faith, trusting that God will never abandon her.
“I can’t believe I’ve been motherless for a whole year. It is well!
Before you insult me or hate me for not being able to help, remember I’m an orphan and a single mom too. Not what I want or envisage, but what life throws at me, and I’m gracefully carrying my cross knowing fully well that God will never leave nor forsake me.
I know it well, as long as God lives, I can never be stranded!
Continue to rest in peace, dear mother,” she wrote.
Her heartfelt message has since drawn sympathy and supportive comments from fans, who encouraged her to stay strong while honoring the memory of her late mother.
