Nollywood actress Lilian Afegbai has revealed that she keeps her relationships and personal life completely private, even from her close friends.
Speaking during an interview on Unfiltered and Extra Spicy, the actress explained that she is naturally a very secretive person and does not feel comfortable sharing intimate details about her life with others.
“In real life, I do not discuss my relationship or my private life with my friends. I am a very secretive person, and I do not care if you say I am not trustworthy, but I will not discuss my personal life with you,” she said.
Lilian also addressed the common belief that she must be close to many people because she has a large circle of friends. According to her, this assumption is not true.
“People assume because I have plenty of friends, they think I am close to everybody. I am not like that at all,” she explained.
When asked what influenced her guarded personality, the actress revealed that it stems from childhood trauma. She admitted that she struggles with trust issues but is actively working on herself.
“I just have serious trust issues from childhood trauma. I am even tackling it now by seeing a therapist, and I am still a work in progress,” she added.
Her honest confession has sparked conversations online about trust, healing, and the importance of protecting one’s personal life.
