Nigerian music star Davido, whose real name is David Adeleke, has finally reacted to the death of his close friend, Denisi, popularly known on Instagram as Ego222.
Reports earlier revealed that the singer lost his friend a few days ago. The sad news of Denisi’s passing was first shared by Joel Heugh Booysen on his Instagram Stories, where he posted several photos of himself with the deceased while expressing deep sadness over the loss.
Although the exact cause of Denisi’s death has not been disclosed, the news has continued to generate reactions among friends and followers on social media.
Breaking his silence on the tragedy, Davido took to his own Instagram Story to mourn his late friend. The award-winning singer described Denisi as someone who loved and believed in him deeply.
In his message, Davido promised to honor his friend’s faith in him and continue making him proud. He wrote:
