The mystery illness resembling COVID-19, initially causing concern in China, has officially made its way to Europe. Denmark and Holland have reported a significant increase in cases, particularly among children aged five to 14, raising alarms among health officials.

In China, a surge in respiratory diseases has overwhelmed hospitals in Beijing, prompting concerns of a potential new pandemic. Neighboring countries like India are on high alert, preparing for possible outbreaks as a preventive measure.

In Europe, Denmark and Holland have seen a notable rise in cases. Holland reported an increase of more than double the normal amount of winter flu-like illnesses for this time of year. Denmark observed a threefold rise in cases over five weeks, with widespread infection throughout the country.

After weeks of mystery, the three key symptoms of the virus have been revealed: sore throat, fatigue, and a lingering cough that can persist for weeks or months. Despite concerns, health officials are monitoring the situation closely to understand and manage the impact of the mystery illness.
