Activist Demands Embassies Keep Mohbad's Family Grounded Amidst Mystery Surrounding Singer's Death

A human rights activist named Akinola Adelabu-Soul wants Omowunmi, the wife of a singer called Mohbad who died recently, and their son Liam, to stay in Nigeria. Adelabu-Soul wrote a letter to 13 embassies, asking them to stop Omowunmi and Liam from leaving the country. He believes this is important because Mohbad's death is being investigated, and there are still many questions about what happened. Adelabu-Soul thinks Omowunmi and Liam should remain in Nigeria until the investigation is finished.

In the letter, Adelabu-Soul explained that Mohbad's wife, Omowunmi, and their child Liam should not leave Nigeria until the investigation about Mohbad's death is over. He mentioned that Omowunmi was a big part of Mohbad's life and that it's crucial for her and Liam to be in Nigeria during this time. Adelabu-Soul wants the embassies to help ensure they stay in Nigeria until everything is clear about Mohbad's death.

Omowunmi's lawyer, Taiwo Olawanle, responded by saying that Adelabu-Soul doesn't have the right to ask for such restrictions. He explained that Omowunmi has no plans to leave Nigeria. She wants to stay and find out what really happened to her husband. Mohbad died when he was 27 years old, and there's been a lot of talk about how he died on social media.
