Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham is making waves on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, after addressing accusations and lashing out at her bullies.
The controversy began when an X user claimed Toyin had his mother arrested, labeling her actions as shameless and urging her to send more police. Toyin responded by stating that while she can tolerate personal insults, she cannot accept people cursing her children and spreading lies. She clarified that she never arrested anyone's mother but simply reported a cybercrime as a citizen.
The user alleged that Toyin took his mother from her shop to Panti police station and prayed for divine justice. Toyin denied this, explaining the situation on Instagram Live. She stressed that her actions were within her democratic rights and attributed the bullying to her support for another individual, insisting she never received any payment for it. Toyin mentioned receiving threatening messages and declared she would not let her bullies go unpunished.
Her statements sparked mixed reactions. While some expressed concern, others continued to criticize her.
