Netizens hail lady for her creativity as she recreates Bobrisky’s infamous EFCC mugshot.

A social media user named Awele Irene Itegbe is currently trending on the micro-blogging platform X for recreating crossdresser Bobrisky's mugshot.

Bobrisky was recently arrested by the EFCC and sentenced to six months in prison, with his mugshot circulating widely online.

Irene decided to recreate this infamous mugshot for her Final Year costume day. She shared photos of herself in similar attire to Bobrisky's, jokingly stating that she was "arrested for alleged BBL," unlike Bobrisky, who was "arrested for Naira abuse."

Calling for Bobrisky's freedom, Irene humorously told the EFCC she was just joking and wasn't ready for people to demand justice for her, ending with "Free Bobrisky."

Recall that in April, Bobrisky was arrested by the EFCC for abuse of Naira. He was arraigned before a Lagos court, where he pleaded guilty and asked the judge for another chance, promising to use his social media platforms to educate his followers against Naira abuse. However, the judge was not lenient and sentenced him to six months in jail at Ikoyi Correctional Center.

Reports surfaced that Bobrisky was quietly moved to Kirikiri prison due to its larger capacity and for security reasons.

An NCoS official refuted these claims, stating that Bobrisky remained in Ikoyi prison since his offence did not warrant a transfer to a maximum-security prison like Kirikiri, which houses inmates serving life and death sentences.
