"My Boss, Mr. Portable, Used to Beat Me with a Cane," Biola Adekunle Recounts How Her Boss Treated Her

Nollywood actress Biola Adekunle has publicly clarified that movie marketer Busayo Odu of Integrity Productions no longer owes her any money for a past film production.

Speaking on the Oyinmomo Show, Adekunle revealed that the issue had been resolved, explaining that a communication gap initially led to the misunderstanding. She urged Nigerians to disregard the social media videos she posted in December 2022, where she accused Odu of owing her money.

“He has since paid me all the money due to me. We had worked together seamlessly before that time. It was due to a communication gap. People should discountenance all those videos I did then,” she stated.

It can be recalled that in 2022, Adekunle went public with claims that the well-known movie marketer owed her money. At the time, Odu was ill and receiving medical treatment in the United States, which affected his ability to fulfill financial obligations.

Now, in a new development, Adekunle has not only withdrawn her accusations but also issued an apology to Busayo Odu, admitting she was unaware of his health condition when she made the allegations.

She further acknowledged that she used the viral videos to raise money due to financial struggles but denied reports suggesting she made up to ₦10 million from the controversy.

During the interview, she also credited Busayo Odu for helping her career in the past, admitting that he had supported her before their business dispute arose. With this clarification, Adekunle hopes to put the matter to rest and move forward on good terms.
