Nollywood actor and filmmaker Rotimi Salami has released the official trailer for Kilanko: The Invisible Child, the last movie directed by the late actress and filmmaker Allwell Ademola.
On Tuesday, February 10, 2026, Rotimi shared the trailer with fans, giving them a glimpse of what to expect from the emotional project. The film is scheduled to premiere in cinemas nationwide on March 6.
The trailer highlights a powerful and touching performance by Allwell Ademola, who directed the movie before her passing. The film also features a strong cast, including Saidi Balogun, Ibrahim Chatta, Foluke Daramola, Biola Adebayo, and Saka Oyetoro.
In a show of solidarity, top box office star Funke Akindele reshared the trailer on her official Instagram page on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. Her post attracted thousands of likes and reactions, further boosting awareness for the movie.
Earlier, Rotimi Salami had called on fans and colleagues in the industry to support the film ahead of its release. He explained that although he produced the project, it was Allwell Ademola’s vision as director. According to him, the movie was created to celebrate the strength, resilience, and struggles of African women.
The trailer has since sparked emotional reactions online.
