Nigeria international Victor Osimhen has reportedly emerged as a potential topic of discussion between Arsenal and Galatasaray, amid ongoing negotiations between the two clubs over the Turkish side’s interest in Arsenal forwards Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri.
According to The Telegraph, Osimhen’s availability has been raised during discussions between the Premier League club and Galatasaray. The 27-year-old striker has long been linked with a move to England, having attracted significant interest from Premier League clubs in recent years.
Osimhen was heavily linked with a transfer to Chelsea from Napoli in the summer of 2024, but the proposed move ultimately failed to materialise.
The striker subsequently enjoyed a productive campaign with Galatasaray, scoring 22 goals in 33 appearances across all competitions last season. He was also particularly impressive in the Champions League, finding the net seven times in 10 appearances.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are reportedly open to offers for Martinelli and Nwaneri and have held discussions with Galatasaray about the potential sale of several squad members during the current transfer window.
With Osimhen’s name now reportedly entering the negotiations, the talks between Arsenal and Galatasaray could develop into an intriguing transfer situation involving several high-profile players.
However, the report does not indicate that Arsenal have made a formal bid for Osimhen, only that his availability has been discussed between the two clubs.
