The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A. Adeboye, emphasized the urgent need for spiritual assistance to overcome the myriad challenges facing Nigeria. Speaking during a visit to Kaduna on Sunday, February 11, where he met with Governor Uba Sani, Adeboye stressed that the nation's problems extend beyond mere politics.
Acknowledging the efforts of political leaders, Adeboye highlighted the persistent nature of Nigeria's issues despite human intervention, emphasizing the necessity for divine intervention. He expressed concern over the possibility of people resorting to drastic measures, such as suicide, if the challenges remain unaddressed.
Adeboye's visit aimed not only to offer prayers but also to provide hope to the people. He emphasized the importance of patience and faith in God, reassuring Nigerians that their current tribulations will pass. Citing instances of despair among the populace, including instances of attempted suicide, Adeboye underscored the importance of instilling hope and faith to prevent further desperation.
Through his crusades and gatherings across the nation, Adeboye aims to remind Nigerians that there is hope for a better tomorrow, urging them not to lose faith or resort to drastic measures. He emphasized the need for perseverance and trust in God's ability to see the nation through its challenges, assuring that divine intervention is imminent.
