"Who Says There’s No God?" Yoruba Actress Aolat Ayonimofe Celebrates Becoming a Landlady After 7 Years of Hustling

Congratulations are pouring in for Yoruba actress Aolat Ayonimofe, as she shares her inspiring journey of success and gratitude after being away from the movie industry for several years.

The actress, popularly known for her vibrant presence in Yoruba movies, took to social media with a joyful heart to announce that she is now a landlady in Lagos, Nigeria. She shared a video of her newly completed home and gave all the glory to God, her supportive husband, and her loyal cream business customers.

Aolat explained that after putting her acting career on hold for seven years to focus on her cream business, many people mocked her, saying she had failed. But now, she has silenced her critics with results. In her words:

"To those who said I’m selling 'Worobo' (fake products), here is the result of my 'Worobo oo'."

She revealed that it had always been her dream to celebrate her 40th birthday with a new house, and though she initially planned to buy an already-built property, her husband encouraged her to build one from scratch instead. He not only supported her emotionally but also took on the roles of site manager and operations head throughout the project.

One touching part of her story was when her husband helped her buy materials at cheaper prices and even refunded ₦2 million to her after getting a good deal on iron rods—showing honesty and transparency that deeply moved her. She wrote:

"He said, ‘Why would I steal from you? I will never do that.’”

Despite financial worries and emotional stress, she pushed through with faith. When she suggested building a small three-bedroom bungalow to avoid going broke, her husband motivated her to think bigger. They ended up hiring an architect and engineer, and although the project costs rose as high as ₦150 million, she kept going.

As if that wasn’t enough, her husband later encouraged her to start a second building project, sacrificing her plans to buy a Benz and using that money to buy land for a second home—her dream house.

Aolat proudly described the second house as "the biggest of them all", and she thanked her husband, calling him "Man of the Year". She also expressed deep appreciation to God, referring to Him as her “Aseda” (Creator), and to her loyal customers who supported her journey.

Despite facing criticism and being underrated in the movie industry, Aolat Ayonimofe’s resilience and determination have now become a powerful testimony.

Her final words in the post:

“Who said there’s no God? May God bless my husband and my customers. Part 3 coming soon!”
